The hardware we have in the Cisco labs is very good and I've never had a problem with them. Don't pay money for a lab. At home my landlord have FiOS, and they use it with a D-Link Modem......to not interfere with their stuff, I have wired my Cisco router into that D-Link Router via Cross with an emphasis on networking....

I'm going to have a look into GNS3 which some other people on here recommended and see how I get along with that!
