None of the problems can be solved without dissableing Windows update. All Windows 7 Processes Right-click on a SVCHOST process and select the Go to Service(s) menu option. Cannot thank you enough, what a brilliant and helpful page this is.. If the service name is "scvhost.exe" then its a virus.
