The computer still powers on, you just can't see anything. I took it to the local Geek Squad at Best Buy in Florida, and the guy said the display was gone, and it would cost over $300 to replace it. So, now its frozen, I will have to do hard shut down. Forum SolvedI havent used my laptop in days and today i opened it up and this showed up. There 's gonna b some deeper problem causing the behavior you're seeing...Any warranty? The laptop restarted on its own twice before being unable to power on.
