Thanks for everyones help and suggestions so far it's greatly appreciated. redwine01Sep 26, 2009, 11:47 AM And check out if u have plug in 2 6pin pcie connector in ur card. check your RAM slots. It's just a really tight fit for each of the 24 pins = a serious amount of force required overall. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/270894-33-computer-kills-graphics-card
backflow makes sense if you've got an intake in front but that's kinda rare these days. Are drivers required? if so then it is most probably ur pci express lane in the motherboard westonSep 28, 2009, 1:50 AM nope, he has a 9800 gtx nforce4maxSep 28, 2009, 2:37 AM DON'T
This is more than any game will do, and if you can't do that without overheating, you don't have sufficient cooling or a case with sufficient airflow. The highest CPU temp I've It is a technical difference, but's there none the less. If you remove the heatsink entirely and leave the card on with just the GPU, you are likely to kill the GPU itself and possibly burn the GPU in the process I removed the 5450 and now using the IGP and seems fine for now Oh I forgotten the problem is increasingly worse now my computer got that http://img.techpowerup.org/110918/Capture027.jpg Many thanks! Bad Gear, Dead PCs Pg 7. When I restarted it that's when I was getting the black screen nforce4maxSep 27, 2009, 3:08 AM I think that it is a psu problem, bad crappy psu can kill cards Damaging the card physically? in Guild Wars 2 Discussion Posted by: Siphaed.9235 Siphaed.9235 This sounds like improper cooling with possible combination of lack of PSU supply.
I thought that just by removing the heat sink was enough to kill that card; didn't expect a inferno within the card lol Koda1, Feb 28, 2013 #18 CDsDontBurn AMD http://htmltemplatesfree.net/is-my/is-my-computer-retarded.html I'd check the card in another's PC before calling it bad. Let me tell you something. i didn't try it for a long period of time ( like a week ) to see if it would give out in the same amount of time as my 8800gtx's,
The card is a GTX 590 and I have about a year of warranty left. I know this is true, I worked in a computer store. FPS goes to nothing, but does not destroy the card. http://htmltemplatesfree.net/is-my/is-my-computer-going-to-explode.html Is my computer killing video cards ?
Ive had it for about 2 weeks now and i started to get a different kind of error, and crashes, then today. Another quick note I've been using an anti static band while touching any of the internals (even though it probably isn't needed in my climate) and I've made sure the power PERIOD.No, what you have is software and hardware that are not compatible, which is fine if that is listed as such.
Is Blizzard aware of this issue?
they had the same problem. nothing was burned out , or ruined . Is the computer crashing in idle time or when u run games? I didn't saw many reviews of them but seems to be positive According to the article and the first screenshot indeed is a video memory issue (unless it's the motherboard/PCIe port)

No need to piss around with lot of little screws, one of which will inevitably end up rattling round the case or shorting out your motherboard. Before this I've had hardly any hardware issues. I have tried to OC the card, no luck. Wether or not I will get a new card or money back is my own problem and I'm willing to take the chance.
