I think there is some kind of virus out there that is causing this and that it is mistaken for a modem problem (and probably mimics a true router problem). I've started to take screenshots of the dropouts but they wanted proof that the drop outs occured on ethernet AND on different devices at the same time but the drop outs When it works, it's great. If the cord that you're using to connect the modem to the jack has any cuts or nicks, find one without damage, and see if that fixes things.

I changed it to a new outlet of the house which was in different cables and the connection got a little more stable but not much better.After contacting my internet provider, I do have a new Wireless card coming in the mail tomorrow which was a bit of a desperation purchase. There's no reason to worry about access to the entire Internet if only one site is down.Next, try changing your DNS server.
