With vista x64, if your driver has not be blessed by Microsoft, it will not work. You should also consider if the laptops hardware will support 64bit Vista... No problems whatsoever 🙂 I recommend Vista 64bit! Yes it does!
In fact there's a partition that came on my hard disk with 64 bit versions of the chipset, audio, mobo, etc. In Win XP i was able to open a word document by itself, but not in Win 7 64 bit. hope i get the answer .. Thank you very much.

Thank you for helping us maintain CNET's great community. WinXP 64 has the same driver software issues as WinVista 64 used to have, but I think this version of Windows is an afterthought and not going anywhere.
